There’s something special about a fall festival. Pumpkins and apples, handmade treasures, sweet treats, games, and crisp autumn colors all make you want to wander around and see what you’ll discover next.
This month, all that autumn fun has come to the Village with the new Fall Festival Printable Watercolor Village Collection!
Spend the day exploring the pumpkin patch, browsing the Harvest Market and handmade crafts, or stopping for apple cider and a slice of pie. You can play a few games, meet Village Friends along the way, and enjoy all the little moments of a beautiful fall day.
A Whole Fall Festival to Explore
The Fall Festival Collection is filled with watercolor people, places, papers, and creative pieces. Mix and match them to tell your own stories and create all kinds of projects.
Inside you’ll find:
- Fall Festival Village buildings and scenes
- Two pages of Village Friends with people in a variety of poses and activities
- Four additional outdoor scenes for storytelling and scene building
- Element Cards to use whole or cut apart
- Festival tickets, tags, signs, labels, strips, and other cut-apart pieces
- Words, phrases, and colorful phrase blocks
- 12 coordinating printable papers with collage, botanical, plaid, stripe, watercolor, texture, and weathered wood designs

Use the Pieces Your Way
One of my favorite things about the Village Creative Series is the freedom to decide what you want to make.
A card can stay a card, or it can become a pocket, tuck spot, mat, or part of a larger collage. Decorative strips can become belly bands, borders, or closures. An outdoor scene can also become the beginning of your own Village story when you add people and festival details.
Plus, the papers work for journals, folios, cards, tags, pockets, little books, collage, memory keeping, mixed media, and much more.
If you love fussy cutting, you’ll find plenty of little details to cut and layer. However, many pages also include grouped elements and easy straight cuts. That means you don’t have to spend your entire creative day cutting out tiny pieces!
There is no required project. No right or wrong way to use the pages. And certainly, no rules. Just play.
Made for Mixing, Matching & Storytelling
The Fall Festival has an autumn palette of soft cream, sage, dusty blue-green, berry, plum, pumpkin, and warm golden tones. Some papers are light and quiet enough for backgrounds. Others add richer color when you want a stronger layer or focal point.
You might create an entire Fall Festival scene one day and use just a ticket or phrase the next. A piece of plaid, a Village Friend, or a pretty autumn paper can easily become part of another project, too.
Instead of giving you one finished result to reproduce, the collection gives you creative ingredients. Cut, fold, layer, combine, and play with them to make something that feels like your own.
