It’s all about the presentation, even for a treat holder!
Whether you are gifting something big or small, presentation matters! Don’t discount how special you can make something rather insignificant feel. Yes, you can even use an individual treat holder to make a simple piece of candy seem more extravagant! Presented in a nifty little wrapper, it shows you cared enough to go an extra step to make it special; which translates into making the person like you cared a bit more about them! We all love being treated with a bit of something that goes a step beyond. Before I move on to showing you this simple project, I have a story to prove my point about presentation.
Who cares what’s in the package?
One of my best friends told me a story about a store in the town she lived in when she was first married. The store had a beautiful, signature gift wrap they did on gifts. She said that when you received a gift they had wrapped, you almost didn’t want to open it and ruin the packaging. You almost didn’t care what was inside, either, because it was so beautiful! Now that’s a mark of a fabulous gift wrap job. I’m not saying that this little treat holder will live up to that standard, but you get the idea. Great presentation makes it even more special.
Let’s get started on our little, individual treat holder
A single square of 6″ x 6″ paper, and that’s all. Anything else, is icing! You could add a simple sticker, a stamped image, or a punched/die cut shape. You may watch the video or scroll down below the video to see the step-by-step image.
