Sometimes a paper project looks simple… until you see it in action.
In this Tiny Tuesday tutorial, I’m sharing a clever little never-ending folio that unfolds and refolds in a way that keeps revealing new pages. It’s one of those projects you really have to see fold to fully appreciate how fun it is.

This project was originally created as part of my Tiny Tuesday series, where I focus on small-scale paper projects and creative foundations.
What Is a Never-Ending Folio?
A never-ending folio is an interactive paper structure that continues to open and reveal new surfaces as you fold it. While the construction uses an accordion-style fold, the finished project functions as a folio — a compact holder perfect for displaying small creative pieces.
This style of project works especially well for:
- Small stamped or colored images
- Photos or journaling spots
- Decorative paper combinations
- Future pockets, tags, or embellishments
For this Tiny Tuesday project, I focused on building the structure so you can later decorate it using your own stash.
Supplies Used
I used three pieces of 6×6 double-sided cardstock, trimmed and scored to create the folding mechanism. For this example, I chose the
Encouragement paper pack from Art Impressions
because their double-sided designs work beautifully together.
I am not an affiliate. Any 6×6 double-sided paper from your stash will work perfectly for this project.
Why This Is a Perfect Tiny Tuesday Project
Tiny Tuesday is all about keeping projects approachable — either by size, time, or technique. This never-ending folio checks all the boxes:
- Small format
- Minimal supplies
- Quick construction
- Big “wow” factor once folded
Once you understand the fold, this folio becomes a flexible base you can adapt again and again with different papers or themes.
Build First, Decorate Your Way
One thing I intentionally do in many of my tutorials is focus on how to build the structure and leave the decorating choices open. Everyone’s stash is different, and this approach allows you to make the project your own without needing specific supplies.
The real magic of this folio is in the fold — the creativity comes later.
