No kiln needed for these holiday ceramics!
First, let me assure you that I am not adding a ton of info on pottery to this site. We have enough going on. However, I came across a way to offer you some great pieces of holiday ceramics, which you can paint. We can even have it delivered right to your door!
I recently found out that you can paint ceramics without having to fire a second time in a kiln! Clay fired once it is referred to as bisque. I always thought you HAD to glaze it with special glazes and fire it once more. You can do that for fabulous glossy finished ceramic pieces, but you don’t have to! You can simply use acrylic craft paints and if you want the glossy look you can spray on some polyurethane. Depending on the piece, and the look you want, you don’t even have to give it that glossy finish.
I will be painting the following pieces on Facebook Live, October 27th. You may click the links below the images to for more info and ordering your own. Then you can always go back and view the videos to see how to paint yours. It’s not hard at all. You may even like to get several and have your own paint party. After the videos have aired, I will come back here and add the links. That way it will be easy for you to find them!
Hurry, this is a limited time offer!
Don’t wait too long! This year has not been kind to manufacturing and supplies are more limited this year. I wouldn’t want you miss out!
See how to paint: the Christmas tree, the truck and tree, the gingerbread house.
Cheers to YOUR Artful Adventures!
